Mark Lawther brings over 25 years of travel industry experience to Experience Albania, having worked with leading global tour operators and prestigious airlines like United and Emirates. His industry knowledge is vast, and since relocating to Cornwall with his family in 2012, Mark has continued to expand his expertise in international travel. His four sons and his wife often joke that Albania is like a second home to him. But for Mark, it truly is.
Mark first set foot in Albania in 1993 and was immediately captivated by its rugged landscapes, rich history, and warm people. His connection to the country grew so deep that he eventually made it his home for several years. Fluent in the language and well-versed in the culture, Mark is the perfect person to help you experience Albania through an insider’s lens. Whether it’s finding the best local guide, selecting the right hotel, or designing a personalized itinerary, Mark’s passion ensures that your holiday will be extraordinary.

When he’s not on the pitch, you might spot him running along the Cornish coast, having completed the London Marathon in 2022 for BreakthroughT1D (formerly JDRF), a Type 1 Diabetes charity.
